HISTORY
THE BEGINNING
On the 26th of July 2005 a group of Blackfriars Priory School Old Scholars met to form the Blackfriars Old Scholars Football Club. The club's foundation was financed by generous contributions from our Foundation Members (see below) who will always be an integral and respected part of the clubs history.
Blackfriars Old Scholars Football Club (BOSFC) affiliated with the South Australian Amateur Football League (SAAFL) on the 7th November 2005. The clubs first games were played on the 1st April 2006 in Division 7 where the Inaugural Squad (see below) wore the first BOSFC Guernsey. The original Guernsey reflected elements of the Blackfriars Priory Schools 1st XVIII Guernsey, black with two vertical blue stripes on the left-hand side, front and back. The school's crest was also featured on the Guernsey along with the Blackfriars Old Scholars Association insignia below the collar on the back..
